A fascinating tale recently reported is that Andrew Lloyd Webber's former residence in Eaton Square, Belgravia, London, was also the home of a poltergeist. Although he never saw the spirit, Lord Lloyd Webber often found items mysteriously moved, with scripts from his stage productions arranged in neat piles in unusual places. While not feeling threatened, he did have a priest bless the property, which apparently led the spirit to move on.

Courtney Cox, known for her roles in "Friends" and "Scream," encountered a different spectral presence. Upon buying a new house, she was warned it was haunted but initially dismissed the idea. While she never experienced anything, visitors reported seeing the spirit of a woman at the end of her bed. Cox's skepticism changed when a delivery person, seeing the spirit behind her, confirmed the house's haunted reputation. Soon after, she sold the property, uncomfortable being there alone.

Jennifer Aniston, another "Friends" star, had her own ghostly encounters in Los Angeles. Electrical appliances would turn on by themselves, and during a house blessing, a dish cracked, revealing the spirit's dislike for one of her roommates.

Nicolas Cage's purchase of the LaLaurie Mansion defies the norm for most celebrities. This property, steeped in dark history, is said to be haunted by the spirits of slaves who suffered at the hands of Delphine LaLaurie in the early 1800s. Its eerie past continued into the late 1800s when it served as a girls' school, where students reported unexplained scratches and bruises, consistently blaming "that woman." The mansion is also rumoured to be cursed, a claim seemingly substantiated when Cage, soon after acquiring it, faced bankruptcy and a noticeable decline in his movie roles.

On her European tour, Miley Cyrus's stay in a quaint London apartment, once a bakery, was abruptly cut short due to unexplained supernatural occurrences. The apartment, rife with eerie happenings, presented challenges such as shower water suddenly turning scalding hot, doors and windows found open despite being securely locked, and the chilling vision of a young boy's spirit perched on the bathroom sink, witnessed by Miley herself.

Nestled in the hills of Los Feliz, California, a mansion with a history of celebrity residents, including Brad Pitt and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, is also reputedly a home for spectral inhabitants. There have been frequent reports of apparitions roaming its halls. Notable among these are a spirit often seen seated contemplatively in front of the fireplace and another eerily visible at the bottom of the swimming pool.

Dominic West, known for his role in "The Crown," acquired an old, derelict 1700s house in Hoxton, England. Following renovations, he encountered poltergeist activity, with items mysteriously thrown across rooms. Its proximity to a plague pit might be a contributing factor to these supernatural occurrences.

Octavia Spencer, an Oscar-winning actress, resides in a modestly sized home in the Toluca Lake area of Los Angeles. She has experienced unexplained phenomena, such as doors closing on their own and lights turning off by themselves. Although the resident spirit doesn’t appear to be hostile, its activity increases after her prolonged absences, suggesting it might prefer her presence over solitude.
